Video: Lebron Making Friends!; Loses Finals And, Possibly, Even More NBA Fans By Dissin’ Em…

“All the people that were rooting on me to fail, at the end of the day they have to wake up tomorrow and have the same life that they had before they woke up today. They have the same personal problems they had today. I’m going to continue to live the way I want to live and continue to do the things that I want to do with me and my family and be happy with that. So they can get a few days or a few months or whatever the case may be on being happy about not only myself, but the Miami Heat not accomplishing their goal. But they got to get back to the real world at some point.”

Sarah Palin Emails Reveal…Democrat-Owned Media Are In A Panic To Destroy Her
From the UK Telegraph (Pics added by B.S. Report)

Wasting Trees...Reporter carries thousands of pages of Palin email...(AP Photo/Brian Wallace)
The trove of more than 13,000 emails detailing almost every aspect of Sarah Palin’s governorship of Alaska, released late on Friday, paints a picture of her as an idealistic, conscientious, humorous and humane woman slightly bemused by the world of politics.
One can only assume that the Left-leaning editors who dispatched teams of reporters to remote Juneau, the Alaskan capital, to pore over the emails in the hope of digging up a scandal are now viewing the result as a rather poor return on their considerable investment. (Read more.)
B.S. Report–What a waste of time and resources! We’ve got a President and a Congress that is destroying the country’s private sector economy, wildly expanding government power and authority, demolishing many of our nation’s most important industries, driving up the cost of our food and oil, and yet our media focuses its energy on sifting through thousands of emails of a former governor in an attempt to destroy her–even though she hasn’t even announced whether she’s a candidate for President.
It has already reached the point that if you want to find actual “reporting” you have to read blogs or go to the foreign press, in this case, the UK Telegraph, to find reporters that aren’t so far “in the tank” for the left and Obama that they actually do the legwork for them and serve as little more than the media arm of the Democratic Party. Think about that the next time there are calls to regulate talk radio or cable (i.e. Fox) news.

NBA Wrap: It’s Over! It’s Over!! Dirk & Co. Slay Wade & The “James Gang”; Win Title In 6 Games
From the AP Via ESPN (Pics and video added by B.S. Report)

MIAMI — For Dirk Nowitzki, the resume is complete. He’s an NBA champion.
For LeBron James, the agonizing wait continues for at least one more year.
Avenging what happened five years ago in perfect turnabout style, the Dallas Mavericks won their first NBA title by winning Game 6 of these finals in Miami 105-95 on Sunday night — celebrating on the Heat’s home floor, just as Dwyane Wade and his team did to them in the 2006 title series.
Jason Terry scored 27 points, Nowitzki added 21 and the Mavericks topped the Miami Heat 105-95 in Game 6 of the NBA finals on Sunday night. The Mavericks won four of the series’ last five games, a turnabout that could not have been sweeter after seeing the Heat celebrate their first title in Dallas after Game 6 of the 2006 finals. ObamaCare In Court: Analysis
From the Cato Institute (Pics added by B.S. Report)
Posted by Ilya Shapiro

ATLANTA — In the most important appeal of the Obamacare constitutional saga, today was the best day yet for individual freedom. The government’s lawyer, Neal Katyal, spent most of the hearing on the ropes, with the judicial panel extremely cautious not to extend federal power beyond its present outer limits of regulating economic activity that has a substantial aggregate effect on interstate commerce. Columnist Of The Day: Thomas Sowell; Different Decisions
From Townhall.com (Pics and video added by B.S. Report)

Two unrelated news stories on the same day show the contrast between government decisions and private decisions.
Under the headline “Foreclosed Homes Sell at Big Discounts,” USA Today reported that banks were selling the homes they foreclosed on, at discounts of 38 percent in Tennessee to 41 percent in Illinois and Ohio.
Banks in general try to get rid of the homes they acquire by foreclosure, by selling them quickly for whatever they can get. Why? Because banks are forced by economic realities to realize that they are not real estate companies. (Read more.)

"Hi, I'm the government expert assigned to your case."
B.S. Report–Fantastic column as usual by Dr. Sowell. Politicians with little or no expertise constantly inject themselves into areas in which they don’t understand–and don’t belong. They use their positions to usurp power from individuals in the private sector who have spent their entire lives working and studying in those fields.
We imperil our society when we overlook the fact that politicians at their core have a lust for power and control that needs to be smothered. Politicians, like this guy below, proclaim a false competence in areas in which they haven’t a clue…
