Chicago, August 11, 2011 – This week U.S. Senator Dick Durbin held a press conference with members of the mainstream media to talk about the downgrade crisis. But the Senator’s scripted storyline veered off-course when a conservative reporter – me – showed up to ask an embarrassing question. Namely, “Senator, you’ve blamed the tea party…but do you bear any responsibility for this downgrade crisis?” (Read more.)
B.S. Report–Wow, that’s some “adversarial” press Durbin has there. They’re almost like cronies at a cocktail party. The liberal press largely consists of human cockroaches who conduct their dirty business in the dark and scatter when you shine a light on them.
On those rare occasions when the curtain is pulled back you actually see them for what they are: A good ‘ole boys and girls network that tows the liberal company line. And Mr. Kelly found out what happens when you don’t–you’re given the bum’s rush before you even have a chance to do your job.
And anyway, how dare he ask a liberal politician to defend his statements! Does he think they’re “public servants” or something? No way–they’re our masters and we best not forget it. “Objective” mainstream journalism is now basically an arm of the Democratic Party. They are there to protect and provide cover for hapless Democrat pols like Durbin who can’t answer actual questions about his policies. But that’s understandable…there are no facts that support liberal policies.
