What was supposed to be an evening of celebration quickly turned violent in Oklahoma City, when eight people were ultimately injured in a shooting that occurred following the Thunder’s Game 5 closeout victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.
As is usually the case, the altercation started out small. According to Fox News, everything began with a group of girls running up on a crowd of guys a few blocks from Chesapeake Energy Arena. Then, before anyone knew what was actually happening, one of the men — who was “run up on” — opened fire on the girls. (Read more.)
