B.S. Report–I hate watching children being trotted out to promote adult subject matter. It bothers me for 2 reasons: 1) it’s wrong to do that to a child and 2) it insults my intelligence. I don’t even like it when I watch children speak adult lines in TV shows or movies. Adults are supposed to protect children, not use them for the purposes of shameless manipulation.
Forget for a moment the content lies being told in this commercial–that little girl doesn’t belong in this ad. She is too young to understand this issue, therefore, her only use is to tug at our heartstrings and be “cute.” She is being used just as a puppy or a kitten is used to promote your local animal shelter–but far less honestly…
